RMT (RehaMed International) was founded in 1996 with the mission to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. Since its inception, RMT has built a reputation for manufacturing the highest quality adaptive products available in the marketplace, while maintaining a competitive pricing model.

Our products are the results of years of research through focus groups and industry alliances. June, 1997: Patent filed for PAL-Portable Aquatic Lift
December, 1997: First PAL lift delivered to Tampa Bay Hyatt
August, 1998: US Patent 5,790,995 issued for PAL-Portable Aquatic Lift
May, 2000: Splash! Lift introduced
October, 2003: Patent filed for VitaGlide
November, 2003: VitaGlide introduced
April, 2004: VitaGlide Pro introduced
January, 2007: Moved to present facility in Homestead, Florida
November, 2008: New aXs Lift introduced
March, 2009: US Patent 7,497,815 issued for VitaGlide
May, 2009: Completed ISO9001-2008 certification
October, 2009: Rehamed International, LLC is acquired by S.R. Smith
